Well I can't say what year I became a Baha'i. Great big smile
But I signed my card about July or August 1989.
The friends in the community where I signed were over the moon, I was called the Baha'i that came to them, they did no work to teach me. I came under the umbrella of this community, as where I lived I was an isolated believer. I was about to go and sign up or whatever at the Islamic Mosque or whatever in their town, but discovered the Baha'i faith just before.
